On Saturday 18th June 2022 members of Securefast set off to climb Snowdon, North Wales to raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care which the OSL Group are supporting this year. With an early morning start from the Midlands, the team started the climb at 9.00 am encouraging each other to reach the peak which they did by midday. With ages ranging from 28 – 70 years old the team have done fantastic in raising £1,950 for the charity to date.
Parts of the walk were rugged, steep and rocky and therefore very challenging in parts, but the scenery was more than worth it. This is the second time that the team have walked up and down Snowdon and found it more difficult as the employees are older than before and probably less fit.
This was a great achievement by the team that included Duncan Crawley, Keith Clare-Brown, Kevin Farrell, Holly Farrell, Dan Harris, Rishi Harbias, Jake McMahon, Paul Goodwin, Adam Wilkinson, Kellie Sandys and her dog Norman.
