Alpro Aluminium Door Lockcases & Accessories

The Alpro range of locks and accessories falls into 3 main categories, deadlocks, deadlatches and cylinders. Alpro deadlocks are the narrow style design used primarily within the commercial aluminium door sector and the design of the lock allows a bolt to be thrown into a lock keep. The bolt cannot then be operated without the use of the authorised key.

However in the case of the deadlatch, the lock is designed to be used with various exit trim, such as a paddle handle. When the handle is operated the latch bolt will retract thereby allowing the door to be opened. However the 'deadlatching' facility means that when the door is closed, nothing can be inserted into the gap between the door and frame to force the latch bolt and thereby allow unauthorised entry.

Both types of locks come in a variety of backsets and cylinder configurations, along with a selection of faceplates available in a variety of surface finishes.
